Law-Denis Dryers to China
.jpg)
Law-Denis Eng Ltd, dryer specialists based in UK recently commissioned two 50t/h rapeseed (canola) continuous flow dryers in Hubei Province of China. Law-Denis have a long history supplying equipment to the oilseed industry and have many installations throughout China.
The criteria set by Chinese authorities is very high, both noise and dust emissions had to be suppressed- fortunately these are standard features on the SCN range of mixed flow continuous dryers. The dryers are designed for 24 hour continuous use, and the “tangerine twins” as they are affectionally referred to by locals can be either operated in tandem or completely independently.
PLC control with modem links ensure programming and troubleshooting can be carried out remotely from the Law-Denis factory near Bristol England. The 50t/h “twins” are oil fired, but other oilseed dryers supplied to China have been either natural gas, LPG or steam heated. Law-Denis capabilities meant that they could have supplied one large 100t/h dryer but it was decided that two dryers offered more flexibility throughout the years production, as crop moisture levels varied.
Other recent oilseed projects have included, Australia, Indonesia, Ukraine, Baltics, and Saudi Arabia.
