After one-day programs in 2007 and 2008, this program was extended to a full two-day short course program. The program will offer a review and state-of-the-art information on the main application areas of oils & fats in industrial applications. Experts from industry and academia will cover fundamentals of oil transformation technology to produce industrial products to be used as biodiesel, ink, biobased solvents, lubricants and plastics.
This is not only a crash course for new plant personnel, but a real opportunity for those who are experienced to meet experts in the field to discuss their current problems to enhance their plant operations.
The course material will also serve as a useful reference for processors, product formulators, chemists and technicians as well as business managers familiar with oils & fats processing, and the production of finished products.
